MEMBERS of the Kingsclere Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) and the wider village joined together for a bite to eat.
The branch hosted its first brunch event at The Crown in Newbury Road on February 2.
Sixteen people attended the event from across both the branch and wider village community.
Mark Holden, Kingsclere RBL chairman, said: “The idea is to get together for a bite to eat in a relaxed and social atmosphere and try and introduce what our branch is about to the wider community. Running the event on a weekend and during the daytime enables those who work or those who do not go out later in the evening to take part.”
