ROADWORKS which have had a major impact across Basingstoke have now been lifted.
Worting Road has been closed since January 7 between the West Ham roundabout and the Worting Road roundabout and was due to reopen on Friday.
However, due to the snow on Friday, the lifting of the works was put back with the section of road finally reopening today.

The roadworks were to allow for a long-awaited flood alleviation scheme to be installed in Buckskin.
