POLICE have released CCTV imagery to aid them in an investigation following an attempted robbery.
Officers were called to the Co-op store in Blackdown Close, Buckskin after a man had entered the store at 10.30pm on January 19, demanding money from the till.
When he was challenged by staff he ran out of the store empty-handed, in the direction of Buckskin Lane.
Police want to speak to the person in the CCTV image as they believe they may have information regarding the incident.
The man who demanded the money is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins and of an average build.
Police are asking for anyone with any information about the incident or if they recognise the person in the CCTV image to contact 101 quoting 44190023181, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
