POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted late night robbery in Buckskin on the weekend.
Officers were called to the Co-op store in Blackdown Close at 10.30pm on Saturday, 19 January, after a man entered the shop and demanded money from the till.
When he was challenged by a member of staff, he ran out of the store empty-handed in the direction of Buckskin Lane.
Nothing was taken in the incident and no one was injured.
The man was described as being white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall and of an average build.
While police are investigating the incident, they are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area that evening that may have seen anything or has private CCTV of the area.
