TEMPORARY traffic lights which have caused huge tailbacks in Basingstoke this morning are set to be in place until the end of the week.
South East Water is undertaking works on the A30 Winchester Road, close to the entrance to Miller & Carter Steakhouse and Beechdown Health & Fitness Club, with temporary traffic lights in place.
Traffic was reported to be backed up to the Junction 6 of the M3 roundabout at one stage today as a result of the traffic lights.
According to roadworks.org, the lights will be in place until Friday.
