A BASINGSTOKE strongwoman is seeking the support of the community to help her take part in competitions across the globe.

Farah Fonseca, who holds the title of Strongest Woman in the World, is looking to travel the world to really stake claim to that crown and to spread the reputation of British strongwomen.

The owner of Fonseca Fitness has once again been invited to take part in the Arnold Sports Festival – the prestigious bodybuilding and strong person completion set up by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Having qualified through her Strongest Woman in the World crown, Farah still needs to raise funds for flights and accommodation to take part in the competition in Columbus, Ohio in March.

This will be the first time that the personal trainer is returning to the event as a professional strongwoman, having competed as an amateur in 2016, where she placed fourth in her weight category.

With more than 6,000 followers on Instagram, Farah has built up a strong backing and is now looking for businesses and organisations to help her continue in her strongwoman journey.
