A RESIDENT of a Bramley care home had a dream visitor when an alpaca came to visit.

Cherry Blossom Manor resident Brenda Pogue had always wanted to walk with alpacas and staff at the home have made this a reality.

After seeing the surprise, Brenda’s sister Jackie said: “I was on the verge of tears.

“It is such an amazing feeling to know that such a loving group of people care so much about Brenda that they helped her to live out a dream – a dream that Brenda and I were about to complete before she was taken ill.”

General manager Gigi Despojo added: “We want everyone we care for to know how important they are to us here at Cherry Blossom. It was so nice to see how happy Brenda was – and the residents and staff loved being a part of this as well.”
