A SHOPFRONT in Odiham has been decked out to promote the town by looking back at the year just gone.

The former Co-op site in High Street has been festooned with pictures and highlights of what took place in 2018, in addition to a few upcoming events in 2019.

The shopfront has pictures of the RAF100 Street Party and box cart race, which saw hundreds of people take to the streets to celebrate the centenary of the RAF, and to participate in and a watch a box cart race that took place through the streets.

Other highlights of the year included the opening of the new community peace garden, the Odiham vs North Warnborough tug-of-war competition, the new youth hub opening and a raft race.

The display was put up by councillors John Hale and James Robinson-Giannasi, and the display also shows off a few dates for upcoming events due to take place in 2019.

The box cart race is planned to make a comeback, Armed Forces Day will be held on June 29, Bands in The Bury is also planned to make a return, as well as the Spooktacula in October and the now-annual Flavour Fest.
