THE M3 has reopened after a multi-vehicle pile-up, with as many as 10 vehicles being thought to have involved earlier this morning.
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near Junction 6 for Basingstoke at about 8am today.
All lanes were blocked and vehicles were being diverted via the entry and exit slip roads along the A339.
However, while the lanes have now reopened, travel information service Romanse says there were delays of up to 45 mintues as of 9.05am.

All lanes open again on the #M3 eastbound at J6. We had all traffic diverted via the exit and entry slip roads in an up and over closure due to a 10 vehicle collision. All now moved and all open again. thanks for your patience this morning #Basingstoke pic.twitter.com/PBjQEu4jl0
