A GENEROUS 11-year-old girl had a jam-packed way to help out centre for the homeless.
Sophie Wright has been getting her hands sticky with making an abundant amount of homemade jam with her gran in aid of The Camrose Centre.
She sold many pots to her friends and family at first then started to sell them at her school to her fellow Year 7 pupils.
After having such a success, the Bishop Challoner School pupil was also given permission to sell them at the Cliddesen Players’ Pantomime Escape from the Chocolate Factory!
Sophie handed over her total funds raised of £76 to Camrose Centre manager Clare Farrow.
Clare said: “This would provide the basics for six sittings of a hot lunch for 25 people.”
