A HR consultancy firm from Basingstoke has dug deep to support children who have life-limiting illnesses.

Reality HR, based in Lutyens Close, Chineham, hosted a range of different fundraising events throughout 2018 to support Naomi House and Jacksplace.

Throughout the year the firm has managed to collect more than £3,000 in support of the hospice, which cares for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses.

As part of the consultants’ fundraising drive, employees organised a charity fashion evening where unused clothes were sold to raise funds and other initiatives included a World Cup sweepstake, a quiz night and a children’s raffle. Earlier this year the team braved the winter weather to do a charity bucket collection outside a London Irish rugby match at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.

A Christmas raffle, with a luxury top prize of a stay at the award-winning New Forest hotel Chewton Glen, rounded off a successful year of fundraising for the team.

Sally-Ann Hall-Jones, chief executive of Reality HR, said: “We have many working mums at Reality HR, so helping this children’s charity has been particularly close to our hearts.

“We have all thoroughly enjoyed raising money to support such a worthy cause and we hope our donation will help families across the region.”

All the funds collected by the HR firm will go towards the hospices, which provide expert care to more than 500 children.
