MORE than 300 runners at Lord Wandsworth College (LWC) had that festive feeling to participate in its annual Santa Dash.

On December 8, runners donned Father Christmas costumes for the fundraising run that took place at the school near Hook.

The event, which had been organised by LWC chaplain Pete Maidment, saw pupils, parents and staff race around the 1.1mile long course to raise funds for charity.

At the suggestion of pupils in the second form, the total of £1,100 will be donated to The Lily Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for mitochondrial disease, raising awareness and supporting families.
