A DRIVER has been cut free from a car after it hit railings and landed on its roof in Beggarwood.
A Ford Fiesta collided with the railings shortly after 9am today (December 15) on the A30 Winchester Road, close to Kempshott Hill.
Fire crews from Basingstoke were called to the scene to cut the driver out of the car.
A spokesman for Hampshire Police said that the motorist suffered injuries, but they are not life threatening and South Central Ambulance Service are on the scene to provide treatment.
The road was closed while emergency services cleared the scene and the debris caused by the collision. It re-opened at just before 11am.
