BASINGSTOKE Town Football Club’s youth team has been donated new training kits thanks to a McDonald’s franchisee.
Tony Bennett, who oversees the fast food chain’s restaurants in Basingstoke has provided the team new training tops and the team coaches with new jackets.
Youth team manager Derek Bull said: “We’re very grateful to Tony Bennett for his support. The new training tops have given the players a real boost, and on the day these were presented to the team they won their game 3-0.”
As a long-standing partner of the FAs, this year McDonald’s is celebrating its 15th anniversary of championing those who enable children and young adults of all genders, ages and abilities to play and enjoy football.
