CHRISTMAS cheer came to Tadley as stars of this year’s Anvil pantomime were joined by local dignitaries to switch on the town’s Christmas lights.
On Friday, last week, North West Hampshire MP Kit Malthouse was joined by Tadley Town Council chairman Councillor Jo Page to see ‘Nursie’ (Jamie Steen), ‘Sneezer’ (Emma Jones) and ‘Twitcher’ (Jamie Legg) turn on the town’s festive lights.
Each of them was presented with a bespoke broomstick each, which was made in Tadley by the same makers of the Harry Potter broomsticks.
The trio are performing in the pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, running from December 13 to January 6 at the Anvil.
