TWO people have been arrested after drugs and a machete were found in a raid.
Police officers carried out the raid at a property in Longbourn Place on Wednesday morning, seizing a quantity of drugs and a machete.
A 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs.
They have been released from custody but remain under investigation.
The warrant was executed as part of Fortress - ongoing work tackling drug-related crime in the Basingstoke area.
Police are urging anyone that suspects that an address in their neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing to call 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
