A SERIES of pre-Christmas crime prevention roadshows will take place across Basingstoke and Deane, and Hart throughout December.
Staff from the Safer North Hampshire Community Safety Partnership will include tips on how to make sure your home is secure and to advise residents that valuable items should be registered.
The Basingstoke roadshow will be held on December 3 in Festival Place.
Councillor Simon Bound, chairman of the Safer North Hampshire Partnership, said: “We hope everyone has a merry Christmas, without fear of opportunistic burglars breaking into their property or outbuildings and stealing valuable items. We hope that more people will be safe if they follow our advice and make life more difficult for criminals so they can’t ruin Christmas.”
