A BASINGSTOKE company has been honoured with an award for its collaborative project earlier this month.

De La Rue partnered with Disney and the GREAT campaign last year to make commemorative Star Wars banknotes for the release of The Last Jedi last December.

The company was honoured with silver in the Clio Awards, one of the world’s biggest advertising and entertainment awards in the world

The campaign ra ised more than £186,000 for the children’s charity Together for Short Lives, which supports children with lie-threatening and life-limiting conditions receive the best care.

Sinead Keller, head of media and PR at De La Rue, said: “The Clio Entertainment Awards represent the very best of marketing and advertising for the entertainment business, so winning a silver award is a significant achievement."
