BRIGHTON Hill Community School students were best in show on Saturday in a challenge to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The students won the Best Overall Stall at the Christmas Trade Fair in The Malls after taking on two other teams from Salesian College in Farnborough.

The winning team Veditus, sold tickets for a tombola to raise money to set up their limited company, which will create a new board game.

They conducted market research on the early Christmas shoppers to enable them to provide a product which will be in demand.

The fair was held as part of a scheme from Young Enterprise which aims to develop participants’ key employability skills.

A study of alumni of the Company Programme has shown in the two years following taking part, 95 per cent are in education, employment or training.
