LOCAL people are being encouraged to take part in a creative challenge to have their works of art displayed.
Pure Cremation, which is currently constructing Charlton Park Crematorium, in Hatherden Road, is inviting artists to showcase their talents.
Entrants are being asked to capture Andover as a work of art, in a form that can be hung on the walls of the new crematorium.
Hampshire artist Pip McGarry will be the judge for the competition.
Selected works will be chosen to be displayed in the crematorium when it is completed in spring 2019.
From these, one overall winner will be awarded a cheque for £500, and two runners-up will receive a cheque for £100.
Entrants must be 18 and over and entries must be submitted by Friday, December 14.
