THE occupiers of a Popley home escaped uninjured after a fire last night.
Crews were called to the scene in Tewkesbury Close just before 9pm, responding to reports of a fire in a living room and a kitchen of a property.
Firefighters used a jet, breathing apparatus and a pressure fan to fight the fire.
Three crews from the Basingstoke fire station were dispatched alongside counterparts from stations in Tadley, Odiham and Rushmoor, along with police and the ambulance service also in attendance.
Both fire and police reported all persons were accounted for and there were no injuries.
*20:57* H01P8 was mobilised alongside H01P6, H01P7 also from @Basingstoke_01, @Tadley12, @Odiham10 and @Rushmoor02 to a Persons Reported flat fire in #Popley. This began a 3x Pump incident, quickly made up as 5x Pumps & Support vehicles. 4x BA, UHPL, 1x J and PPV used. (1/2)

Police have also confirmed this afternoon officers are working with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service to establish the cause of the fire.
