A BASINGSTOKE-based housebuilder has raised more than £6,000 to support a children’s hospice.
After learning first-hand about the good work taking place at Naomi House and Jacksplace, staff at Bovis Homes have been raising funds for the charity.
Staff at the Chineham-based office have been holding raffles, auctions and dress-down days, while a team of seven raised £2,390 for the charity by running the Basingstoke Half-Marathon in October.
Becky Elliot, fundraising manager at Naomi House and Jacksplace, said: “We are so grateful for the extremely generous donation from Bovis Homes.
“Their fundraising efforts have been nothing short of magnificent, especially tackling the Basingstoke Half-Marathon.
“We hope to work together again in the future to help support local children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.”
