VISITORS to Festival Place were given the opportunity to experience art coming to life in front of their faces.
Basingstoke-based artist Sian Storey set up shop in THAT Gallery in the Basingstoke shopping centre on Saturday to create a piece of living art.
People of Basingstoke will already be familiar with Sian’s work, as she painted two of the Sitting with Jane BookBenches which were scattered across the borough last summer.
Sian said that there is a real appetite for art in the borough, so wanted to give people the opportunity to see art up close and personal.
Since opening in 2014, the THAT Gallery has provided a home for artists in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas with Sian being a regular contributor to have work displayed.
THAT Gallery is located opposite the Apple store in the shopping centre.
