THE Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain look set to cause a bit of festive mischief when they come to Basingstoke.

From the North Pole to the Sydney Opera House, the Ukes have toured the planet with their legendary live shows that plunder all genres of music from Wagner to Nirvana with wit and sheer plucking brilliance.

In what is most definitely not a shameless seasonal cash in, the orchestra is inviting the audience to join in some festive joy, with sing-a-longs and even the chance to play in the show.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain with Bells On comes to the Anvil on November 27, and The Gazette has teamed up Anvil Arts to give away two pairs of tickets with each winner also receiving a copy of the Orchestra’s latest CD and DVD.

To be in with a chance of winning just answer this simple question.

Which 1990s iconic grunge band has the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain covered?

Is it A) The Smashing Pumpkins B) Nirvana or C) The Melvins
