THIEVES have targeted 13 vehicles in Rooksdown, stealing their number plates.
Police have received reports of number plates being stolen from vehicles in Gillies Drive, Nightingale Gardens, Park Prewett Road, Watertower Way and Vespasian Gardens.
It is reported that the thefts are believed to have taken place between 2.30am and 3.30am on Sunday, 4 November.
Police community support officer Ryan Long said: “We are asking residents within Rooksdown but in particular the mentioned areas to check their vehicles and make sure that they have not fallen victim to this as well.
“If anyone has any CCTV within these areas please check them to see if any identifiable persons can be seen.”
