An investigation has been launched after a man was assault on evening of Halloween.
A 37-year-old man from Tadley was driving past the shops in Bishopswood Road, Tadley at around 7.30pm on October 31 with his 11-year-old son in the car.
He stopped the car after believing that objects were being thrown at his vehicle.
When he got out of his vehicle, the man spoke to a group of young people before turning to get back in his car.
As he did so, he was struck in the back of the head by three or four males, who continued to hit him in the head and face.
During the assault, his glasses and headphones were knocked to the floor and damaged. The victim sustained swelling and bruising to his cheekbone, eyebrow and ear.
The victim described the youths as being aged around 16 years old.
