Bluebird Care Hook & Kingsclere is helping to launch a new care forum to support care services and provide opportunity for charities and groups working in the sector to share information, resources and good practice.

The first meeting of the Care Forum will take place on Wednesday, 31 October at the Kingslere Village Centre, 35 George Street, Kingsclere, RG20 5NH.

Special guest for the opening meeting will be Grant Cornwall MBE, Chief Executive of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF).

He will be talking about the work of the Foundation and what grant schemes are available for groups and charity working with older people.

Phil Miles, Director of Bluebird Care Hook & Kingsclere, said: “We were very pleased to open our new Care Hub in March, which has been a help to families wanting more information about care options and the vital services provided by local charities and organisations.

"The new Forum will provide an opportunity for groups and charities to come together and explore common issues and concerns. Funding is always a challenge and we are thrilled that Grant Cornwall can spare time to discuss the important work of the HIWCF, supporting charities and groups across Hampshire."
