Tadley Statin Strollers FC
A WALKING football team from Tadley has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Tadley Statin Strollers Walking FC, which plays at the Powerleague in Brighton Hill, was collecting money for St Michael’s Hospice during the 2017/18 season.
Among the fundraising events, the club held a charity ball back in March and had a World Cup sweep stake in June.
On Wednesday, 17 October the club presented a cheque for £1,160 to the hospice.
The hospice requires around £3.9million each year to fund its work with around £3.2million of which raised via initiatives and donations.
