A PUBLIC event is set to be held to discuss the future of Basingstoke’s ice rink.
As previously reported in The Gazette, there have been ongoing maintenance issues with the Planet Ice facility in the Leisure Park.
Now, operators at Planet Ice are set to host a public forum to discuss the future plans with the venue.
At the event, held on Saturday, 3 November, Planet Ice’s chief operating officer Heath Rhodes and head of development Karen O’Neill will be on hand to answer any questions residents may have.
Members of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and representatives of NewRiver REIT Plc will also be attending.
The public forum will address the immediate issues and concerns surrounding the ice rink’s current and future status and will run from 3pm to 5pm at Planet Ice.
