Candidates for borough council by-election announced
THE candidates for the upcoming Norden by-election have been announced.
As previously announced in The Gazette a by-election has been called for the wad after former Labour councillor George Hood took the decision to retire from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Residents in Norden will go to the polls on Thursday, 25 October.
The candidates standing for election are: Michael Archer, Conservative Party, Carolyn Wooldridge, Labour, Zoe Rogers, Liberal Democrat and Phil Heath, Independent.
