A CONSERVATION group teamed up with residents to plant thousands of bulbs.
As part of Basingstoke Green Week, the Jubiloaks conservation group were joined by local residents for an annual planting event.
Overall, 1,500 wild daffodils and 1,000 English bluebells were planted through Long Break, the Oakley end of the multi-user pathway to Kempshott.
A group spokesperson said: "These native bulbs are sometimes shy to flower in the first year, so may need a bit of time to settle in well, but we are looking forward to seeing the results in the next year or two."
This year's planting event was sponsored by the Greggs Foundation.
