BASINGSTOKE is not supporting 'no deal' or the Prime Minister's 'Chequers' plans, pro-EU campaigners in the area have found.
The campaign, which saw a 'Brexitometer' set up near to the town's train station, polled passers-by on their views on Saturday, 29 September.
The North Hampshire for Europe group, who ran the poll, saw that 87 per cent of those polled chose remain, six per cent agreeing with the 'Chequers' deal, and seven per cent in favour of no deal.
Jonathan Buisson, chair of the group, said: "People don’t think Brexit is going well, they don’t want a catastrophic ‘No Deal’, and they do want a People’s Vote with an option to remain to take back control from MPs they no longer trust.”
The group are planning to take part in the next March for the People's Vote on October 20.
