PUPILS at Lord Wandsworth College (LWC) have got messy for charity.
The students took part in their third colour run on Saturday, 8 September with more than 350 students turning out to raise funds for St Michael’s Hospice.
The LWC Colour Run has now taken its place in starting off the school year in style. It consists of a 2.5km route around the school’s grounds while enthusiastic volunteers throw armfuls of brightly coloured powder at those taking part.
A total of £1,234.10 was raised for the hospice which was chosen by pupil Mia Wagenstein who worked at the hospice charity shop over the summer holidays.
