AN APPEAL has been launched to find the two women who come to the aid of a man who was being attacked in the Top of The Town.
Police were called to an incident in the early hours of September 16 to reports of a man being punched and kicked by a group of five men in Church Street.
The 36-year-old victim suffered a broken ankle as well as bruising during the attack, which took place just outside the Chick-mex kebab shop.
During the incident two woman went over to help the man but they had left the scene by the time the police arrived.
Officers are keen to trace these two women as they may have information which could help with the police’s investigation.
