A PERSON has been injured and traffic is building after an accident near the M3 near Basingstoke.
Emergency services were called at 3.30pm today to reports of an incident on the M3 between two junctions near Basingstoke.
The incident took place in between junction six and seven of the M3 Southbound and involved a light goods vehicle and a bus.
One person was injured and was extricated by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services, with crews from Basingstoke, Odiham and Winchester attending the scene.
One lane is closed, and traffic remains heavy in the area. Traffic is all the way up to junction five, and there is a one hour delay to motorists.
