FIREFIGHTERS from Whitchurch had an unusual callout over the weekend when they were called to Test Valley Golf Club, in Micheldever Road Overton.
On Sunday, the crew was called out to help a man free his finger from a folding golf trolley.
The team used precision cutting equipment and managed to separate the man from the golf trolley in around 15 minutes.
The man took to Twitter to thank his rescuers, reporting he had nothing broken and commenting on the unusual situation.
In response, Whitchurch Fire Station tweeted: "You’re welcome and we hope you are back on the course soon. Yours wouldn’t even make the top 100 of things stuck in things that our [control department] deal with."
