A DRAFT proposal is being drawn up in the bid to deliver 350 new homes in Bramley.

Croudace Homes is inviting residents to a public consultation to hear about the potential plan on land north of Razors Farm.

The emerging proposals include a mixture of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties.

This is the second time in three years that the homebuilder has looked at developing on land in Bramley with the initial Razors Farm development causing mixed feelings among residents back in 2015.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council had received a number of applications to develop land around Cufaude Lane, including a large traveller site in 2013.

An outline planning application to include access for residential development comprising of up to 425 dwellings was rejected by the borough council in the same year.

However, with the introduction of the borough council’s Local Plan, it has allocated the site for new homes.

A statement on Croudace Homes' website reads: “The emerging proposals include a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, new community facilities - including a community hall, two multi-use games areas offering tennis court provision, an informal kickabout area and children’s play area - alongside areas of green space.

“We are holding a public exhibition to ask for your feedback on the draft proposals. Our team of consultants will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and gather feedback.”

The public exhibition will be held at Clift Meadow Pavillion, in Michens Lane, on Monday, 17 September.

All residents are welcome to attend from 3pm to 7pm.
