IN A bid to make residents more environmentally conscious, two new electric car chargers have been installed in Tadley.
The new charging ports have been installed next to the town council offices in Franklin Avenue, and are available to members of the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The points have been funded by a grant from the Government Office for Low Emission Vehicles.
Chairman of Tadley Town Council, Councillor Jo Page said: ‘We want to encourage our residents to switch to more environmentally friendly vehicles and there are some residents who are unable to charge their vehicles at their homes.”
