A YEAR of fishing, raffling, quizzing, running, cycling and donating has led to a £10,000 boost for a children’s hospice.
In 12 months, staff at Sainsbury’s Distribution Depot in Houndmills have raised £10,000 through a variety of sponsored initiatives, after voting Naomi House and Jacksplace, the children’s hospice based in Winchester, as its local charity of the year.
Chloe Loughlin, engagement and communications lead at the depot said, “The team at Naomi House are inspirational. The facility and care they provide for families is amazing and we’re so proud of our colleagues for raising such a fantastic amount which will really make a difference to the charity.”
Naomi House provides care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.
