A GROUP of dancers are ready to showcase their skills in support of a charity.

Live 2 Dance Academy’s 2018 showcase of song and dance will take place at the Haymarket Theatre on Saturday from 7.30pm.

As well as entertaining crowds, the evening will also raise money for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity which will receive a share of the profits from ticket sales.

Cast members, whose age range spans five to 50, will take to the stage and perform a variety of music and dance styles.

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications at the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said: “Ark is grateful to Val, Tammie and all at Live 2 Dance Academy for this wonderful show of support, and we hope that many Ark supporters will be among the audience that enjoys this special show.”

The Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s £5m appeal will ensure a range of support services and complementary therapies are available alongside chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments in a calm and uplifting environment.

The new cancer treatment centre is largely being funded by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and it will be built at Basingstoke hospital.

Tickets cost £15 and are available from anvilarts.org.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01256 844244.
