A FAMILY Fun Day is being held on Saturday, 28 July in aid of the Hope For Gemma campaign.

The event will be held at Tadley Calleva Football Club at Barlows Park, in Silchester Road, Tadley, from 11am to 11pm featuring a disco, a bouncy castle, a barbecue, live entertainment and more.

Entry is free with donations sought for activities.

The family of Gemma Kent, from Tadley, need to raise £60,000 to pay for life-extending treatment in Turkey, which takes up to six months, and to cover getting to and staying in Turkey.

Mother-of-three Gemma, 41, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer of the pancreas and liver earlier this year and was due to travel to Turkey this week to begin treatment.

To follow the campaign or enquire as a business about how to help, search for @HopeForGemma on Facebook and to donate, go to gofundme.com/hope-for-gemma.

The Hope for Gemma campaign, named in honour of Hope who was conceived through IVF, smashed the £33,000 barrier this week.
