A GROUP of mortgage brokers cycled 15 miles raising money to support vulnerable people in Basingstoke.
On Friday, 15 June, 72 members of staff from CMME Mortgages set off on a cycle to work ride to raise money for the Camrose Centre.
Starting at Avington House in Winchester before riding the 15 miles back to the firm’s office in Alton, where all participants enjoyed a celebratory BBQ.
The group managed to raise £1,438 for the Camrose Centre, which will go towards supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Basingstoke and Deane.
The Camrose currently operates in the Glebe Hall attached to St Michaels Church in Basingstoke town centre.
It helps provide homeless people in the borough with benefits, housing and legal matter among some of the services it provides.
