HUNDREDS of families flocked to Sanders Fields in Tadley for this year’s Treacle Fair.
The annual event hosted by the Loddon Valley Lions is one of the marquee events in the Tadley calendar and this year was no different.
Entertainment, music, craft beers and a fun fair were the order of the day as people attended the event last Sunday.
As well as being a fun day in the sun for all those in attendance each year the Treacle Fair helps raise hundreds of pounds for different good causes.
This year the beneficiaries of the money raised at the weekend event were Living Paintings, in Kingsclere, Pelican Cancer Foundation and Step by Step, in Aldershot.
Officially opened by Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Councillor Sean Keating, with the traditional procession from Burnham Copse School to the Treacle Fair site, where was something on offer for everyone.
From the birds of prey display to children’s face painting.
The Loddon Valley Lions are always looking for new members and volunteers, if you would like to help out or become a member visit loddonvalleylions.org.
