THOUSANDS of pounds worth of tools were stolen after a raid on a building site in Hook.
Police were called following reports that thieves forced their way into the construction site in Griffin Way North, between 10.20pm and 11pm on April 11.
Portable cabin windows were smashed and tools and building equipment worth more than £8,000 were stolen from inside.
Three men were seen leaving in a white Ford Transit van, which turned right onto the A30 into Hook village.
