HIGHWAYS England has announced the planned roadworks that will be taking place in and around Basingstoke from Monday, 12 February and Sunday, 18 February.

Resurfacing work will be taking place on the M3 near Mapledurwell will start in the coming week. 

The M3 southbound between junction 5, Hook and junction 6, Basingstoke, will be closed between 9pm and 6am, from tomorrow for six nights (Monday to Friday only).

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A30 London Road.

Bridge strengthening work near junction 6 on the M3 will be continuing this week.

Maintenance work on the bridge supports will mean narrow lanes will be in place 24/7 on the roundabout beneath the M3 until March 2018.
