FALLEN trees brought travel chaos across Hampshire this morning.
It comes after the county was battered by severe gales overnight.
Fallen trees have blocked railway lines delaying commuters travelling between Southampton and London, effecting services from Basingstoke railway station.
Palmerston Road in Southampton was partially blocked due to tree damage.
On the roads, the B3400 near Overton is currently closed due to a fallen tree.
The winds brought a tree down at Shawford, near Winchester, blocking the main line from London to the south.
It means that services between Eastleigh and Winchester are at a standstil.
In a statement on National Rails website it reads: "Due to last nights severe weather, various trees are blocking the railway, causing disruption to journeys across the Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink network. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until at least 12pm."
