HARD working and dedicated health workers from various sectors of the NHS were celebrated at the Southern Health’s Star Awards.
The awards are designed to recognise teams and individuals, both clinical and non-clinical, who go above and beyond their call of duty.
More than 2,000 individuals were nominated, with only 40 shortlisted in nine categories. Among the winners was the Basingstoke Hampshire Liaison and Diversion Service (HLDS) which won the partnership award.
Southern Health’s new chief executive Nick Broughton, who hosted the event, said: “Every nomination we received is a reflection of the passion, hard work and commitment our staff provide to the people they support every day. I am proud to be leading an organisation where staff really care about the people they support and the people they work with.”
