A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been given a restraining order and a £170 fine for threatening to burn down a house.
Reece Brooks, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to threatening to burn a house down on 19 December, intending for the victim to believe the threat would be carried out.
Brooks also pleaded guilty to damaging two candle sticks to the value of £20 and a wall to the value of £150 belonging to another victim, with intent to destroy or damage the properties.
At Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 21 December, Brooks was given a restraining order prohibiting him to enter Seville Crescent, Andover, until 20 March and was ordered to pay a total of £200 for compensation and court costs.
