RESIDENTS are being encouraged by the MP for North East Hampshire to show their support to local small businesses, both on and off the high street this Saturday (December 2).
Ranil Jayawardena is asking for residents to take part in The Small Business Saturday campaign which aims to celebrate the value of small businesses and to highlight the importance of supporting the local High Street, small businesses and independent traders.
Ranil Jayawardena MP, said:"Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. That’s why I was so pleased that last year there was a record 5.5 million small businesses across the country and why I am delighted to be backing small businesses in North East Hampshire this Small Business Saturday.
“There are so many fantastic small businesses employing people locally and serving our community - and I would encourage you all to seek them out and show your support, particularly this coming Saturday, but throughout the year too."
