OVERTON fell silent on Sunday as they marked Remembrance Sunday.
Gathering at Sprents Lane, the parade marched down Winchester Street, Kingsclere Road, and Church Road. Various organisations were present in the parade, including the Scouts.
Then, as a mark of respect, wreaths were laid at the war memorial outside St Mary’s Church.
Then, two minute’s silence was observed by everyone who attended, before a remembrance service was held at the church.
